Shakhtar Donetsk have made an offer for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur target Nacer Chadli, reports talkSPORT.

The FC Twente midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from De Grolsch Veste this summer, after a series of scintillating performances in the Eredivisie in 2012/13.

Chadli has also attracted admiring glances from some of Europe's most illustrious clubs, with Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan all monitoring the Belgium international's situation.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has been credited with an interest in bringing the Moroccan-born winger to White Hart Lane, while Brendan Rodgers is also believed to be an admirer of Chadli, and is weighing up a bid to lure him to Anfield.

However, both Liverpool and Tottenham's respective hopes of signing the 23-year-old have been dealt a blow after it emerged that Shakhtar have made preliminary contact with Twente about signing their star player.

A move to Serie 'A' is said to be the most appealing option for Chadli, but it remains to be seen whether or not any of his Italian admirers will firm up their interest in light of the Ukrainian club's enquiry.
