Shane Williams has backed England international Christian Wade to make an impact on the Lions Test series this summer.
The diminutive Welsh winger was recently called up to the touring party along with Wade as injury cover for Warren Gatland's squad.
But while Williams acknowledges he's only in the team for a one-night cameo, he believes the 22-year-old Wade could go on to feature in the Lions Test matches against Australia.
"He's a very talented player, new on the scene and already raising eyebrows," Williams told the Daily Telegraph.
"He's obviously a massive talent, I enjoy the way he plays, he's an aggressive runner, he's very fast, enjoys taking defenders on, my kind of guy really.
"I'm looking forward to playing with him and seeing what he's got. He's more than capable of showing what he's got and being part of this Test series, I think."
Williams was a surprise call-up by Gatland, but featured for the Lions on their last tour of South Africa, scoring a stunning try in the final match of the series.
But it's two years since his last international cap for Wales. Still, Wade repaid the compliment to his new teammate, and admitted it would be a "massive thrill" to play alongside one of the great wingers of the modern era.
"Shane's one of those players who I've watched and tried to learn a lot off from a distance," said Wade. "To be able to play alongside him is probably beyond my dreams.
"I probably wouldn't have got the chance to play against him in my career and to play with him is taking it to the next level."
And the young England winger is ready to make an impact if given the chance after leaving the tour of Argentina.
"It's just a massive honour to get the call to come over here…I'm happy to be here and if I do get the chance to play in the test it would probably be the proudest moment in my life so far."
Both Williams and Wade are expected to start against ACT Brumbies in Canberra on Tuesday ahead of the first Test next Saturday.
