Russian champions celebrate by kicking balls at boats

Open top bus parades are usually the way teams go about celebrating winning the title, but CSKA Moscow decided they would do a boat parade.

The Army club won their first title since 2006 and the boat parade seemed a lovely idea, sailing through the Russian capital alongside the tourist boats.

Sergei Ignashevich was so excited by the whole experience that he decided he wanted to kick footballs at passing tourist boats.

To be fair to the 33-year-old defender, the other boat is quite a long way away and he doesn’t have much of a run up from where the CSKA squad are standing.

Ignashevich’s first attempt isn’t quite on the money but his second go is a sure hit and his teammates respond with a great cheers.

A bizarre way to celebrate winning the league, but a funny one nonetheless – thanks to 101 Great Goals for pointing it out.
