Tottenham Hotspur are the only club to have submitted an offer for Atletico Mineiro forward Bernard, according to his agent, Hissa Moyses.

TalkSPORT reports how the 20-year-old Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from Estádio Independência this summer, with European giants Borussia Dortmund and FC Porto both monitoring his situation.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has been credited with an interest in bringing Bernard to White Hart Lane, as he looks to strengthen his attacking options in north London ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.

And, it looks as though Tottenham are in the driving seat when it comes to signing the Brazilian attacker, with Moyses confirming that the Premier League club are the 'only contenders'.

"Dortmund have not submitted a proposal and Tottenham are the only contenders," he told Portuguese publication O Jogo.

Bernard has netted 17 goals in 84 league appearances for Atletico Mineiro, and is widely regarded in his homeland as a future star.

A move to the Premier League will be a huge step up, but a move in the right direction if the player is going to fulfil his early potential.
