Chelsea will kick off their 2013/14 Premier League campaign with a home clash against newly-promoted Hull City on Saturday 17 August, it was announced on Wednesday morning.
Jose Mourinho's first competitive game in charge during his second managerial spell at Stamford Bridge is celebrated with a repeat of the 2009/10 opening-day fixture, which finished with a 2-1 scoreline in the Blues' favour.
After welcoming Steve Bruce's Tigers to west London, Chelsea then travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in their first away fixture of the new campaign.
The following month sees Chelsea take in back-to-back London derbies, with the visit of Fulham on September 21, followed by a trip to White Hart Lane, where Mourinho will be pitted against former member of his backroom staff and ex-Blues boss, Andre Villas-Boas.
Chelsea will be at home on Boxing Day when they welcome Swansea City to Stamford Bridge, before travelling south to play Southampton at St Mary's on New Year's Day, with a home tie against Liverpool sandwiched in between.
Manchester City arrive in west London on October 26, with the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium taking place on February 1. Meanwhile, Chelsea travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on December 21, before welcoming Arsene Wenger's side to Stamford Bridge on March 22.
Chelsea's final home game of the season will be played against Norwich City on May 3, before a last-day trip to south Wales to face Cardiff City on Sunday 11 May.
