Malaga starlet Isco has been named the player of the tournament at the U21 European Championships in Isreal following Spain's 4-2 final win over Italy last night.

The 21-year-old, who scored from the penalty spot in the final, put in a string of fine performances to help Spain win the tournament for the 5th time in their history.

The 'Golden Boy' winner has offers on the table from both Manchester City and Real Madrid and is expected to join either club from cash-strapped Malaga this summer.

His Spain team-mate Alvaro Morata claimed the tournament's Golden Boot prize for his four goals, while Thiago Alcantara's brilliant hat-trick in the final meant he finished as the tournament's 2nd highest scorer.

Isco, with three goals to his name as well, was the tournaments 3rd highest scorer.
