Tom Daley is already training hard with one eye on the 15th FINA World Championships which get underway next month.

The Team GB diver claimed a memorable bronze medal at the Olympics in last summer in London and is now looking to his next great challenge - the world championships in Barcelona.

The championships get underway on July 19, while Daley will start his training camp in Spain on Saturday. That hasn't stopped him from putting in the hard work already before seriously getting down to business.

"These cardio sessions before training are intense!!" he wrote on Twitter.

"Looking forward to going to Mallorca on Monday for a training camp :D" he added about his preparations. The training camp will run right the way through to July 6.

Luckily Daley won't be alone as he hones his skills ahead of Barcelona - he'll be joined by Jack Laugher, who along with Daley won the Boys "A" 3m synchronised springboard competition at the World Junior Diving Championships in October last year.

Laugher also claimed 3rd at the Russia Spring Swallows Grand Prix in Kazan, his first major senior medal, in May.

Daley was forced to pull out of the European Diving Championships after failing to recover from an elbow injury in time, meaning he is unable to defend the gold he won back in 2012. The event got underway yesterday.
