Lewis Holtby has showed a tremendous amount of promise for his new club Tottenham Hotspur last season.
He unexpectedly arrived at the North London side a transfer window early, as key midfielder Sandro was sidelined through injury.
Ever since Holtby came to Spurs he has put combative displays and has been an asset to the team.
Holtby has featured mainly in the Europa League matches in which Tottenham reached the quarter-final stage, and has had a gigantic impact on games.
He provides energy, skill and some great passes, but after watching him start for Spurs in the Europa League, he seems to lose a lot of his energy at half time or just after.
His impact on games is incredible, but he seems to almost so fatigued that it stops him from delivering high-level performances after the half way point.
Next season I would love to see him really come through and have an impact on the game for the full 90 minutes.
So, will he be a Premier League superstar next season?
He's only 22, and still has a great deal of room for improvement, and he's just finished captaining the German U21 squad.
Not bad at all, so surely this will see him become a fantastic midfielder next season.
Given another year of experience and practice on the training ground and he'll be top class, just the sort of player Tottenham will need in their team because of what he brings to the game.
Holtby is certainly one to watch next season. So to all the Premier League fans out there - I'd recommend to keep your eyes peeled as we could have an emerging star on our hands.
