Manchester United have lost their aura of invincibility since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, according to Andre Villas-Boas.

The Tottenham Hotspur manager believes new Old Trafford boss David Moyes will have to adapt quickly if they are to regain the ability to put fear into their opponents.

Meanwhile, Spurs have got more competition as they look to sign Barcelona forward David Villa – this time from Serie A.

Fiorentina are reportedly the latest club hoping to beat the White Hart Lane club to the Spain international.

Chelsea have confirmed that Thibaut Courtois will spend another season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

The Belgium international said he was delighted at the news, as he was desperate to play in the Champions League with Atleti.

Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla has dismissed rumours he may be leaving Emirates Stadium.

Cazorla has quickly become a Gunners fans favourite since his switch from Malaga last summer and he insisted he was happy at Arsenal.

AC Milan insist they have no interest in Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, which could clear a way for him to move to Juventus.

Tevez has a year left on his current Etihad Stadium deal and looks unlikely to sign an extension.

It would be almost impossible to turn down Barcelona, according to AS Roma playmaker Miralem Pjanic.

The Bosnia international says he is happy in Rome but he did not know where his future lies this summer and admitted he would like to play for Barcelona, despite being a Real Madrid fan.
