Chelsea youngster Jeffrey Bruma will sign for PSV Eindhoven in the coming days after the defender was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, according to talkSPORT.
Jose Mourinho has decided that the Netherlands international defender will not be a part of his plans as he begins to reconstruct his squad.
Bruma joined Chelsea at the age of 15, and worked his way up the youth teams before signing his first professional deal in 2009.
Bruma spent two years trying to force his way into the Chelsea first team, but struggled to make an impact on the ever-changing managers.
He made only four appearances between 2009 and 2011, and was widely used in the Chelsea reserve team.
In 2009 Bruma was sent out on-loan to Championship outfit Leicester, where he spent the season at the King Power stadium.
His spell in the East Midlands went slightly better, but he was still limited to only 11 appearances in the whole season.
Following this spell, Chelsea then sent Bruma to Germany, where he spent two years on-loan with Hamburg.
He has had much more success playing under Thorston Think, and made 40 appearances over the two years in which he spent at the club.
But despite stating that he was looking forward to returning to Chelsea following the end of his second spell with Hamburg, he has been told that he is available for transfer this summer.
And it is Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven that look set to win the race for the 21-year-old's signature as he is on the verge of signing for a fee in the region of £3million.
