Chelsea and Manchester City have registered their interest in Brazilian midfielder Jorginho, according to reports.

The Daily Express cite reports in Italy when claiming that both Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini are interested in bringing the player to the Premier League after a number of impressive performances with Verona.

The 21-year-old was linked with a move to Arsenal in January, according to the report, and is once again tipped to leave Italy with a move abroad.

Both the Blues and Citizens have overseen a managerial change this summer, with Mourinho replacing Rafa Benitez at Stamford Bridge and Pellegrini replacing Roberto Mancini at the Etihad Stadium.

And, both managers will be eager to put their own personal mark on sides that are expected to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

‘The Special One’ already has a plethora of talent at his disposal at Chelsea, but is under pressure to deliver the success that he achieved during his first spell in charge.

Pellegrini, meanwhile, has plenty of cash to spend, but has already missed out on one of his top targets, as Isco opted to join Real Madrid instead of Manchester City.

Jorginho certainly isn’t such a big name, but could still create quite a transfer tussle if he opts for a move to England in the summer.
