Independiente fans made their feelings very clear at a meeting with the club president Javier Cantero.

The 55-year-old was speaking to fans in a fairly low-budget sports haul after a season to forget, with the club relegated from the Primera Division in Argentina.

Seven-time winners of the Copa Libertadores, manager Miguel Ángel Brindisi is sure to have his work cut-out next season getting the club back up to where they belong next season.

And, he’s not going to be helped by large transfer funds either, after Cantero confirmed that money would be tight next season.

It wasn’t the answer fans were looking for however, with several storming downstairs and throwing both chairs and a table at the president and his entourage.

Luckily, nobody was injured in the ensuing chaos, as Cantero was bundled out the back door.
