WWE have released a statement saying that Jesus Rodriguez (Ricardo Rodriguez) has been suspended for 30 days, for his first violation of the companies policy.
Rodriguez is currently signed as Alberto Del Rio's personal ring announcer, he doesn't wrestle he is just Del Rio's valet and gets involved in matches to turn them into his favour.
He began his career in Florida Championship Wrestling in 2010 before being assigned to WWE as Del Rio's valet later that year.
He got his first in-ring action in 2011 when he took Del Rio's place in a battle royale but was quickly eliminated by R-Truth.
Later in 2011 he and Del Rio were drafted to Raw in the WWE Draft and began a feud with The Big Show. Before he confronted John Cena on Del Rio's behalf and was punched in the face for his efforts.
Earlier this year he took part in a valet match against Big E Langston and Zeb Colter, a match that he won and allowed Del Rio to pick the stipulation for their triple threat match at Extreme Rules.
Since this rivalry ended Rodriguez has been protecting the former world champion from Ziggler's constant attacks.
Del Rio was alone on Raw last night as he faced John Cena in the Champion vs Champion match, raising the question of where his ring announcer was, but now we know he wont be around for at least another month as he sits out his suspension.
