Finnish fan 'flips out' whilst celebrating HJK goal

HJK Helsinki maintained their place atop the Veikkausliiga following a 2-1 victory over FC Lahti on Monday.

Demba Savage scored the decisive goal midway through the second half, and as he ran towards the corner flag to celebrate his match-winning goal, a bizarre incident saw one exuberant supporter 'flip out' amid the scenes of jubilation.

Balancing precariously on the stadium railings, the unidentified man appears to be accidentally nudged in the back by a fellow fan, prompting him to forward flip over the advertising hoardings, landing pitch side, just metres away from the celebrating players.

The man was lucky to come away from the nasty fall uninjured, before being quickly ushered away from the pitch by one of the Sonera Stadium stewards.

Finnish football leniency is something to be admired though, as it wasn't long before the foolish fan was back soaking up the party atmosphere, after being allowed to walk back into the stand from a gate near the corner of the ground.

Watch footage of the crazy HJK Helsinki fan's forward flip from the stand by scrolling to 9mins 08secs in the video below - with thanks once again to for bringing the incident to our attention!
