Ghana starlet Ebenezer Assifuah scored a 47th minute stunner for his country in the U20 World Cup semi-final against France.
The young striker has certainly made his mark on the tournament in Turkey, scoring four goals en-route to the last four.
And, whilst the Black Satellites crashed out with a 2-1 defeat to Les Bleus, Assifuah certainly had a moment to remember in his country’s final match.
The 20-year-old wins the ball in an advanced position, shifts it to the left and then unleashes a rocket shot which flies past the keeper and in off the post.
However, a brace from Florian Thauvin proved to be the difference between the two sides, whilst Ghana had Samuel Umtiti sent-off in the 80th minute.
Assifuah’s goal was the stand-out moment in the match however – watch it below and let us know which U20 player you’d love to sign this summer…
