Ramires – Chelsea
While he does get on the scoresheet every now and again, the Brazil international’s hard running and recovery speed isn’t quite so glamorous as a Juan Mata assist or an Eden Hazard dribble.
Ramires’ hard work allows the more attacking wide players to make defensive lapses and not expose the team each time, as well as allowing them to start higher up the field. He is terrific player and GMS is sure next season will see his essential work recognised.
