‘The Special One’ admits the England striker is a player ‘he likes very much’, but didn’t want to say too much on the reported target.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has opened the door to a move to Italy this summer.

The right back was one of the Citizens’ star players last season, but admits he would love to play in Serie ‘A’.

Spurs striker Jermain Defoe has called for attacking reinforcements at White Hart Lane next season.

The England forward was one of just two options available to Andre Villas-Boas last season, and additions may be needed to launch a top four challenge.

And finally, Barcelona and Pep Guardiola appear to be at war after their former manager criticised president Sandro Rosell.

Barca have subsequently hit back, and defended their stance over current boss Tito Vilanova.
