David Luiz angry at Chelsea exit rumours

David Luiz is angry at Chelsea after reports surfaced suggesting he was being shopped around by the club, according to The Sun.

The Brazilian defender was reportedly part of a Blues bid to bring Wayne Rooney to the club - something Chelsea have since denied.

But Luiz fears he is being offered around by the Stamford Bridge club after rumours linking him with a move away from the club continued to circulate.

The report claims the former-Benfica star wants Chelsea to publicly state he's not for sale to ease his concerns.

The 26-year-old has been a first-team regular since joining the club in 2011, but he's reportedly fighting for a place under Jose Mourinho.

The Chelsea boss is thought to be unconvinced by Luiz's defensive style, and the Brazilian has been linked with a summer switch ever since the ex-Real Madrid boss took charge.

Barcelona have been mentioned as a possible destination, but Luiz is adamant he wants to stay in west London.

And despite the speculation, he wants the Stamford Bridge club to clearly declare their intention to keep him.
