A violent fight broke out in the final minutes of Universidad Católica and Unión Española's 2-2 draw in the Chilean Cup on Thursday evening after two late sending-offs.
With Unión Española requiring a victory to keep their chances of staying in the competition alive tensions were running high, and soon, with Universidad Católica playing for time, things boiled over.
Team captains Christian Álvarez and Diego Scoti were both handed their marching orders inthe 94th minute following a coming together.
From that all hell broke loose as both teams as well as coaches traded punches and kicks while officials try fruitlessly to calm the tension.
