We all know that TNA has never really been big competition for WWE, some superstars go there after their careers are over at WWE and some, decide to sign for WWE when they feel their career with TNA is through.
But TNA seems to be going through something of a crisis as of late, about a week ago there was word that impact wrestlers were unable to be paid because audiences were not turning up at the live shows, so not much income was being made.
And now, the latest live event was overshadowed by the fact that wrestlers such as former WWE Women's Champion Gail Kim, Miss Tessmacher, Jay Bradley, The new TNA World Champion Chris Sabin, Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco were unable to wrestle because the Missouri Athletic Commission had said they did not have the appropriate licences.
The world champion has no licence to wrestle.
So instead TNA offered the fans a meet and greet backstage with the wrestlers, and the show only lasted 90 minutes with some of the same guys having to compete twice.
Jeff Hardy faced Kurt Angle in the main event - Bully Ray, James Storm, Devon and Gunner all wrestled twice, in singles matches and then in a tag team match later in the night.
There were just five matches with Samoa Joe and Roby Roode facing off in the remaining one.
What is happening with TNA? Can they not afford to tour?
Or can they not afford their superstars wage bill? All I know is, if your World Champion has no licence to wrestle, there is a problem.
