Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has refuted suggestions he has been playing mind games with his counterpart at Manchester United David Moyes.

Mourinho was asked at a press conference in Jakarta if his compliments towards Moyes were part of a ploy to unsettle the Scot upon his arrival at Old Trafford.

Napoli have agreed to sign Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid.

Arsenal had negotiated personal terms with the striker last month, but Napoli are set to win the race for his signature in a €37 million deal.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, could secure the signing of Gareth Bale after the Tottenham star reportedly agreed a contract with the Spanish giants.

Madrid newspaper Marca claims Bale will sign a six-year deal worth €10 million-a-season, although a transfer fee between the two clubs still needs to be negotiated.

New Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic says he would be happy to return to Fiorentina in the future.

Jovetic left Florence for Manchester last week, and says he hopes to rejoin the club later in his career.

Andres Iniesta does not expect there will be any conflict between Lionel Messi and Neymar next season.

Neymar completed a high-profile transfer to the Camp Nou earlier this summer, and Iniesta expects the Brazilian to work well with Messi.
