Quade Cooper has been recalled to the Australia squad by new Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie.
The full-back was previously omitted from the squad by former coach Robbie Deans, which lost the series against the British and Irish Lions earlier this summer.
James O'Connor was given the number 10 shirt as a result to face Warren Gatland's men, but this time around Cooper has made the squad, with O'Connor making the squad as a full-back.
Just last year Cooper described the Wallabies environment as "toxic" but he has put these feelings aside in order to return to the squad.
Coopers' inclusion in the squad comes as no real surprise considering the fact he shares a close relationship with McKenzie after playing under him at Queensland Reds.
As as a result Cooper is widely expected to start Australia's first match of the tournament against New Zealand.
Brumbies fly-half Matt Toomua and Waratahs counterpart Bernard Foley are two of the ten uncapped players in McKenzie's 40-man training squad for the forthcoming Rugby Championship.
