Manchester United supporters are salivating at the prospect of watching Wilfried Zaha showcase his skills at Old Trafford this campaign after an impressive pre-season.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Red Devils in January before spending the rest of the 2012/13 campaign with former club Crystal Palace, was arguably the Premier League champions' best player on their recent tour of the Far East and Australia.

Zaha looked sharp throughout the tour, and showed exactly why United opted to shell out £15m for his services earlier this year.

After making his debut as a second-half substitute against a Thai All-Star XI, Zaha was handed his first start by manager David Moyes in a convincing 5-1 victory over A-League All-Stars.

The Ivory Coast-born winger, who made his senior England debut last year, then netted his first goal for the club against Cerezo Osaka, a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw.

Zaha's eye-catching displays could now lead to a start in this month's Community Shield against FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic at Wembley.
