Chelsea stars train with David Luiz double

Ahead of their pre-season game with Inter Milan, Chelsea's match preparations took an unexepected twist.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2011, David Luiz wasted no time in becoming a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge due to his happy-go-lucky attitude and his uncanny resemblance to a character from The Simpsons - Sideshow Bob.

But a separate sideshow unfolded at Chelsea's Washington training base before flying out to Indianapolis to face Jose Mourinho's old club - David Luiz's look-a-like got got in on the action.

Luiz's doppelganger had turned up in the hope that he'd be given the opportunity to meet some of his Chelsea stars. Little did he know that he'd be invited to train with the first-team.

With Mourinho looking on, 'Luiz II' proved he was unfazed by mixing it with some of the Premier League's biggest stars, demanding possession in a bid to make a good impression.

However, despite his cool exterior, his football skills left a lot to be desired, as Luiz's look-a-like stumbled over the ball when challenged by Michael Essien.

As excepted, Luiz took everything in good humour, despite the fact that his body double was sporting a 'Ramires 7' shirt, taking time out to pose for photos with the wannabe star.
