Sam Allardyce plans to add just one more player to his West Ham United squad before the season gets underway in two weeks time.
The Hammers boss is pleased with the signings he has made this summer, and feels he is just one player short of where he wants he wants to be with the Premier League season fast approaching.
"This has been one of the quietest summers I've had," he said.
"We have done some good business."
The club broke their transfer record when they completed a deal for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll, while they have also recruited the likes of goalkeeper Adrian, full-back Razvan Rat and midfielder Danny Whitehead.
Allardyce is content with how the new players have settled into his squad, as he targets a final summer signing.
"Andy Carroll has come in, we've got a new goalkeeper in Adrian from Real Betis, who seems to be settling in very well, and Razvan Rat will help strengthen the defence," added Allardyce.
"We're looking at securing one more player within the budget we've got this summer, and hopefully that will make us a little bit better than last season."
Despite the arrival of England striker Carroll, Allardyce's priority appears to be securing another forward after Marouane Chamakh and Wellington both returned to their parent clubs following their loan spells, and Carlton Cole was released.
Former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou has been strongly linked with Upton Park, while reports also suggest the club are interested in Matej Vydra - who spent last season on loan at Watford - from Udinese.
