Pitch invader takes terrible penalty against Everton

Most football fans can only dream of a chance to take a penalty against the goalkeeper of the team they support.

And as Everton's pre-season draw with Italian giants Juventus went to a penalty shoot-out, one Toffees fan took it upon himself to step in-front of Kwadwo Asamoah and try to beat Tim Howard from 12-yards.

However, after invading the pitch and giving himself the chance of stardom, the fan struck the ball straight into the arms of Howard.

To the amusement of the Juventus coaching staff, the fan started to celebrate his miss.

It looks unlikely Everton boss Roberto Martinez will be giving the young man a trial at Goodison Park anytime soon.
