Arsenal take Alharbi El Jadeyaoui on trial

Arsenal have handed Morocco midfielder Alharbi El Jadeyaoui a trial, as reported by talkSPORT.

Currently on the books of Ligue 2 outfit Angers, the 26-year-old midfielder has been given the opportunity to secure an unlikely move to the Emirates.

Having scored four goals in 35 league appearances in the French second division, El Jadeyaoui now must impress boss Arsene Wenger during his stint in north London, as the French tactician casts his eyes over the once-capped Moroccan international.

Wenger has come under-fire once again for failing to bring in any high-profile signings this summer, though he continues in his very public pursuit of Liverpool ace Luis Suarez, and also missed out on ex-Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain to Napoli.

If El Jadeyaoui fails to secure a dream switch to Arsenal and the Premier League, it will not be for the want of trying.

He had an unsuccessful trial with Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers back in 2009, though the 26-year-old will be hoping for a better outcome this time round.
