Belgium - a footballing nation on the rise and tipped for great success over the coming years.

And with the likes of Eden Hazard, Christian Benteke, Vincent Kompany and Marouane Fellaini all in their ranks, it's easy to see why.

And now it seems there's another name to add to the ever-growing list of world-class talent. Step forward, Zakaria Bakkali.

The 17-year-old hotshot has enjoyed a memorable week that he won't forget in a hurry.

Having made his Champions League bow with PSV - where he scored in their 3-0 win at Zulte-Waregem - Bakkali was then handed his first international call-up.

Belgium take on France this Wednesday, and the young starlet will be looking to take his impressive league form into this fixture - and here's why.

During PSV's second game of the Eredivisie season, the 'next big thing' scored a stunning hat-trick and simply stole the show.

What makes his achievement all the more remarkable, is that this was only Bakkali's third appearance for the Dutch giants.
