Rio Ferdinand revealed he turned up for training early this morning in order to get some extra work in before Manchester United's first game of the season against Swansea.
The defender used his Bubbly account to tell fans that his early appearence at United's training ground means he can analyse videos of Swansea ahead of Saturday's season-opener.
He said: "I've dropped the kids off at summer camp and I'm straight to training. It's a late start - I'm here early so I'll have to get some extra work in.
"I'll do some upper body work, leg work, get a massage and go look at videos of Swansea."
However, despite his enthusiasm, he seemed reluctant to get started as he revealed the murky weather and the early start had taken its toll.
"Weather is a bit grim here in Manchester but we've got to just train hard and we'll be alright.
"Can't believe I'm in this early man," he said. "It's killed me."
