Arsenal have so far failed to make a marquee signing this transfer window and have seen there rivals strengthen. Could they drop out of the top four?
Last season Arsenal scraped fourth place on the last day by one point ahead of north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur but have since only signed Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer this summer.
Arsenal have since let go of many fringe players. They have sold Andre Santos, Andrey Arshavin, Denilson, Gervinho, Marouane Chamakh, Sebastien Squillaci and Vito Mannone but have yet to buy replacements and have left the squad looking thin.
Arsenal's first team is more than capable of finishing in a Champions League spot. They have quality players such as Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott.
However, inevitably there will be injuries over the course of the season and Arsenal do not currently have adequate cover.
All summer Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has missed out on top players such as Gonzalo Higuain, who has picked Napoli over the London club.
Arsenal have since seen Spurs strengthen and buy Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli and former Arsenal targets Paulinho and Etienne Capoue.
Chelsea and Manchester City have also spent big meaning the gap between Arsenal and the top three clubs in the Premier League seems to be widening.
There are glaring gaps in Arsenal's squad. The London club need a striker, a winger, a centre back, a defensive midfielder and another full back.
Arsenal's board announced they had a lot of money to spend this window but have instead made a profit so far.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has his last chance to keep the Arsenal fans on his side but if he fails to make significant signings, he could lose his job and Arsenal could face playing in the Europa League for the foreseeable future.
