Football News

Arsenal are reported to have turned their attention to the acquisition of Manchester United target Geoffrey Kondogbia as the north London club strive to reinforce their squad before the transfer deadline.

The Gunners, it has been claimed, have made an approach for the Sevilla midfielder, and have been informed they must pay £17.2 million to activate his release clause.

Injury to Mikel Arteta, who is out for six weeks, has led Arsene Wenger to target Kondogbia, although Arsenal may have to compete with Manchester United if they hope to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium.

Manchester United's pursuit of midfield recruits has been well-documented this summer, and the 20-year-old France international is one of several players on the radar of David Moyes.

But what would Arsenal or Manchester United be getting if they signed Kondogbia? Well, take a look at this scouting report, as created by YouTube ScoutNationHD.
