Gareth Bale has urged fans of the FIFA computer game series to tune in to EA Sports’ YouTube channel on Wednesday for some big announcements at Gamescom 2013.

Electronic Arts will live stream their highly anticipated press conference from Cologne at 3pm GMT, with new footage and a playable demo potentially on the agenda.

Bale will grace the front cover of FIFA 14 for the first time this season, with the Tottenham Hotspur winger set to feature alongside Lionel Messi.

Javier Hernandez, Maya Yoshida and Arturo Vidal will also grace the covers in their respective territories.

As well as announcements surrounding FIFA 14, EA will also showcase new features for Need for Speed Rivals, Battlefield 4 and EA Sports UFC among others.
