Manchester United are set to make an approach for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, according to the Express

And, according to El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will make a move for United's young keeper David de Gea, meaning the Red Devils will target the Real legend.

Casillas, who has also been linked to Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal, would reportedly prefer a move to Old Trafford.

The 32-year-old keeper lost his place in the Madrid side under Jose Mourinho last season and has failed to regain it under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The move could depend on whether the Catalan outfit decide to swoop for De Gea in this transfer window, or wait until next summer.

Barcelona want to eventually replace Victor Valdes with the young Spaniard, but may wait until their current keeper leaves the club at the end of the season.
