Dwayne De Rosario will already be a name familiar to lovers of great goals.

The 35-year-old scored the MLS Goal of the Year in 2004 and 2005 – a sensational volley and one of the best free-kicks of all time – and has now, at the age of 35, added a contender for 2013.

The former Canada international, who currently plays for DC United after spells with several clubs in North America, opened the scoring against Toronto with a remarkable strike from distance.

De Rosario picked the ball up from the left flank, skipped inside past two Toronto players before unleashing a beautiful strike which curled perfectly into the net.

It was a goal of outstanding technique – De Rosario was off-balance when he hit the ball, but still managed to get a strike off at goal which David Beckham would have been proud of.

Unfortunately for De Rosario, his goal wasn't enough to secure all three points, with Toronto equalising on the hour mark.

Nevertheless, the Canadian could now end his career with a hat-trick of MLS Goal of the Year awards to his name.
