WWE will want WrestleMania 30 will be the biggest WWE Pay-Per-View of all time and will do everything in their power to get the biggest number of PPV buys they can. This includes bringing back former stars to form some of the biggest matches of all time. Here I look at some of the bigger names that could return for one more match at least.
Stone Cold Steve Austin - The rumours of Austin’s return have been around for a year or two now. I think every wrestling fan in the world wants Austin to return and an Austin vs CM Punk match at WrestleMania would be huge. Austin’s return is a possibility but it is doubtful due to his age and injury history.
Goldberg - One of the latest rumours is the return of Goldberg for a match with Ryback at WrestleMania 30. Although Goldberg shot down the rumours on Twitter as he’s appearing at a WrestleCon event over WrestleMania weekend, if WWE throw enough money his way, this could happen.
Batista – This seems like the most plausible of all in my opinion. Batista has been away from WWE for a couple of years now and was apparently unhappy about the PG product. However, there were rumours a few weeks ago that Batista could return for one more short-term deal leading up to a match at WrestleMania.
The Rock – Although The Rock has been involved in the past few WrestleMania’s, it’s unclear whether he will appear this year. His well documented injury at WrestleMania 29 has led many to believe he will put his acting career ahead of the WWE, so WM 29 might have been the last time The Rock will have been seen in action. If WWE could get The Rock to return for another massive match it could do nothing to hurt their PPV buys.
Which former star would you like to see return for WrestleMania 30?
