The Night Of Champions PPV takes place September 15th in Detroit, Michigan.
The WWE Championship match has been confirmed already, and here I look at the other rumoured match-ups as well...
Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title
This bout was confirmed on Smackdown last week. This match is part of a massive storyline involving Daniel Bryan & The McMahons that will continue probably until 2014. I don't think Daniel Bryan will win, simply because it's too early in the feud for him to hold the title.
The face is always better chasing the title and I don't expect Bryan to hold the Championship until a lot nearer WrestleMania. But I expect a very good match with Bryan somehow getting distracted by someone or screwed out of the win
Rob Van Dam with Ricardo Rodriguez vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title
This match was all but confirmed when Ricardo Rodriquez aligned himself with Rob Van Dam on Raw. This match is not a builder to a bigger match at a later date, and I don't think Rob Van Dam will win the World Heavyweight Title.
Reports online state that RVD has a stipulation in his contract that allows him to work 90 days and then take a hiatus. Obviously they would not give him the title if this were true. This will be a good match but Alberto Del Rio will retain.
Big Show and Mark Henry vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for the Tag Team Title
This match is all but confirmed also, The Shield have been feuding with Mark Henry for a few weeks now. Big Show only recently got involved but there were rumours of this match happening at Summerslam.
This will be an interesting match but I see The Shield retaining and I feel The Shield will leave with all the Championships they have or they will leave with nothing.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose for the United States Title
As I said above, I feels it's everything or nothing. This match, if given enough time, could be match of the night in terms of pure in-ring action. Unfortunately WWE seem to have Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfere in most of Ambrose's matches so I expect the same.
CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Title
This is the next step in Punk's feud with Paul Heyman. But, does Punk need to hold the Intercontinental Title? I don't think so. This could also be a brilliant match if given enough time. I think Curtis Axel will keep the title but Punk will come out of this looking strong. So maybe a DQ finish with Punk getting the better of Axel after the match.
One of the Total Divas vs. AJ Lee for the Divas Title
Yeah so, one of the Total Divas?! I hope they mean someone on the show and not JoJo or Eva Marie, I hear they're in-ring work isn't too great. Seeing as AJ is a heel, who does that leave? Natalya or one of The Funkadactyls?
It will probably be Natalya but WWE could easily have a heel vs heel and have AJ go against one of The Bella twins. Don't be surprised the see the Total Diva win. They could do it just to promote the show
The Usos vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper
This match will probably be on the pre-show. Although not for any title, WWE has been giving The Usos more TV time lately and apparently are putting faith in The Wyatt family.
Interesting match, two bigs guys against the always fun to watch Usos. I don't think it really matters who wins this but I expect The Wyatts to get the victory in a good match
