Arsenal have been a club in the spotlight for a very long time, whether for good or bad reasons.
It is well known that they are going approximately nine years without winning a trophy. They are also criticised for not making enough singings and selling all their best players. Not to mention the constant pressure put on Arsene Wenger by the fans which, in turn, is then amplified and blown up by the media.
Arsenal have been linked with so many players over the last few months. Players such as David Villa, Luis Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain, Paul Pogba, Yohan Cabaye, Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil, Angel di Maria, Edinson Cavani, Micah Richards, Mario Gotze, Marco Reus, and Wayne Rooney - but to name a few! Pretty much all of those players have moved to another club with only two or three seriously ongoing.
Wenger recently blamed the media for making people believe there is a crisis at the club. Almost every day at least three of the top 10 rumours on BBC Sport are related to Arsenal or Wenger. This can be unsettling and put pressure on the manager and the team.
Despite Wenger's attempts to relax the fans there are still many people questioning whether he is the right man to take Arsenal forward. Seeing as his contract expires at the end of this season it has become the heart of much debate as to whether he should be offered a new one.
If Arsenal qualify for the Champions League, as they look set to do following their 3-0 victory against Fenerbahce last week, then it will relieve pressure on Wenger's shoulders, and should help the club in their bid to attract world class players to the Emirates in the last few days of the transfer window.
You have to consider whether rumours are the cause of the fan's unrest or whether their distress is justified?
