Jack Rodwell

Football News

Rodwell, an unused substitute in Manchester City's opening two Premier League games, might want to think about a move elsewhere.

Because when your club shells out £35m on a player that plays in your position, it's safe to assume you're not pencilled in for many minutes this campaign.

He's been a permanent fixture on these kinds of lists - admittedly because of injury problems - ever since he popped up with that memorable goal for Everton against Manchester United at Goodison Park and promptly disappeared again.

'Gone but not forgotten' is the popular phrase - for Rodwell the reverse is the case.
