Not even a yellow card for clothesline KO

GMS realise Australians love rugby and that the physical sport is one of the most popular in the country, but the challenge above would even have produced a card in the game with the oval ball.

The lesser known Brisbane Premier League was hosting a match between Wolves FC and Peninsula Power, where one of the most blatant fouls we have ever seen was committed.

Wolves were 2-0 up with 20 minutes remaining when forward Kado Aoci latched onto a loose ball midway in the opposition half; he was too quick for Power captain Luke Guaci and was about to slip away from him.

That is until, in what looked like complete desperation, Gauci hung out an arm to halt Aoci's progress but only managed to slam the man from Congo into the ground with a WWE-style clothesline.

Aoci, understandably, looked in quite a bit of pain after the hefty challenge and stayed down after the fouls was given. Unbelievably, a foul was all that was given - not even a yellow.

You can watch the clothesline challenge above & special thanks to 101GreatGoals for finding the video.
