Olivier Giroud - Arsenal

Football News
24/7

With Arsenal's long-serving manager Arsene Wenger under fierce pressure to bolster his attacking options before the close of the summer transfer window, striker Olivier Giroud appears desperate to prove that he is fully capable of spearheading the Gunners' attack for the foreseeable future.

Having netted three goals in all competitions already this season, the former Montpellier marksman added an important fourth with the only goal of the game in a hotly-contested North London derby against Tottenham.

Giroud was a formidable presence in the final third, frequently unsettling Spurs' defenders and his finish after 23 minutes showed excellent composure to round off an impressive passing move.
