Chelsea defender Sam Hutchinson has completed a season-long loan move to Vitesse Arnhem, reports Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old becomes the sixth Blues youngster to swap west London for Holland in 2013/14, following Patrick Van Aanholt, Gael Kakuta, Christian Cuevas, Lucas Piazon and Christian Atsu to the GelreDome.
Jose Mourinho is eager to give as many of his Stamford Bridge starlets the opportunity for regular first-team football, and with no clear route to the senior Chelsea side, has sent the players for a spell in the Eredivisie.
Hutchinson made his Chelsea debut in 2007, but has managed just six first-team appearances since then, after being plagued by injuries.
The Englishman was forced to retire from football in 2010, but made a u-turn on his decision and re-signed for the Blues a year later.
He spent 2012/13 on loan with Championship outfit Nottingham Forest, only for another injury - this time to his knee - restricting him to just nine games at the City Ground.
