On transfer deadline, Arsenal smashed their transfer record to land German playmaker Mesut Ozil, in a £42.5million deal.
Ozil said in his first statement whilst with the Gunners that he aims to help Arsenal end their trophy drought under Arsene Wenger. Meanwhile, Wenger said that Ozil is everything he looks for in a footballer.
So with all of their talent, along with the new additions, can Arsenal win the League?
Despite their disappointing start to the campaign, when they slumped to a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa, Arsenal have won their League matches against Tottenham and Fulham. Their win on Sunday against Tottenham came as a surprise to most, but will fill the Gunners with the confidence they need to end their trophy drought, and potentially win the title.
Arsenal have always been a creative side, but Ozil will add the sharp attacking presence that they need in their squad.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all the favourites to win the league, all with new managers. Rivals Tottenham have also had a positive start to the season, with two wins out of three, and seven high profile players putting pen to paper during the transfer window.
Arsenal have not been linked with the possibility of winning the League, however could emerge as the underdogs given the fact that they now possess a significantly improved threat to the one many expected them to have prior to the transfer deadline day.
