Zidane style volley scored by one-legged player

Zinedine Zidane eat your heart out, for your most iconic Real Madrid goal has been replicated (almost) by a player with one leg less than you.

The Frenchman's strike in question - a wonderful volley against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League final of 2002 - is regarded as one of the finest goals ever scored, as Zidane displayed exquisite poise and vision to improbably find the top corner.

While Zidane's goal seemed implausible, the prospect of a player on one leg executing a similar volley would surely have seemed impossible - but such an instance has indeed occurred.

GMS, we must admit, has been a bit late on this one - the goal was actually scored last year - but this does not detract from just how amazingly unfathomable the finish is. Ok, so it's not half as far out as Zidane's goal but, come on, the guy has only one leg.

Watch it in the video above.
