Futsal star scores incredible reverse back-flick lob

Futsal is a game that promotes close control matches are often witness to some outrageous skill, but GMS doubt if there has been a better goal scored than that by Benfica's Rita Martins.

We're not quite sure how to describe the goal exactly, but we're going with a kind of reverse back-flick lob? One thing is for sure, it was a goal of incredible quality and improvisation, as well as being one that the goalkeeper will want to forget quickly.

A scuffed through-ball to Martins forced her to turn her back to goal while in a good position and it would have meant the chance had passed if she was any normal player.

Facing the wrong way with the 'keeper to beat and defenders closing in is no problem for Martins, she simply (never has the word been lass apt) clamps the ball between her feet and flicks it backwards over the head of the stranded goalkeeper.

It was sensational - watch it above.
