Swansea City defender Jazz Richards has taken to Twitter to announce a loan move to Championship outfit, Huddersfield Town.
The Welsh international tweeted, "Loan deal done to @htafcdotcom looking forward to the next couple of months."
Richards, who spent time on loan at Crystal Palace last season, beat both Swansea and Huddersfield to confirming the deal, with the length of the loan also yet to be announced.
Huddersfield would be able to bring Richards in during the emergency loan window which started today (Tuesday). The window allows clubs from the Championship to League 2 to bring players in on loan for up to three months.
If, as Richards tell us, the deal is completed, he will become a replacement for Jack Hunt who completed a deadline day switch to Crystal Palace.
A temporary move away from the Liberty Stadium would come as no surprise with Richards having failed to make an impact on the Welsh side since their promotion to the top flight.
This season has started in similar fashion with the 22-year-old being an unused sub in four of Swansea's five league and cup games.
Richards had more success during his loan spell with Crystal Palace last season, as his 11 game stint culminated in the club being promoted to the Premier League via the play-offs.
