Robin van Persie scored a stunning goal for Netherlands in their 2-0 win against Andorra.

The Manchester United forward grabbed both goals for his country against the minnows, and in the process booked Holland’s place at the 2014 World Cup.

It was his opening strike which will rightly grab the attention though, with the 30-year-old picking up the ball from Kevin Strootman and bending in a wonderful curling effort from 25-yards on 50 minutes.

Last season’s Premier League Golden Boot winner doubled the advantage five minutes later, and will now be able to set his international sights on next summer in Brazil.

David Moyes will be happy to see the player return to Old Trafford without an injury, despite the Red Devils star playing 90 minutes in-front of 500 fans.

He should have no problem lining-up for Manchester United on Saturday, when the champions welcome Crystal Palace to the Theatre of Dreams.

Before that, you can watch his stunning international goal at the top of this story…
