Brazil faced Portugal at the Gillete Stadium, Massachusetts, USA in a match where they won 3-1.
Although, Cristiano Ronaldo was unavailable for the match, other star names like Neymar, Thiago Silva, Nani and Joao Moutinho featured in the clash.
The match started off with Raul Meireles opening the scoring after capitalising on a mistake by AS Roma full back Maicon. Then Brazil drew level after a sublime corner by Neymar was buried in by captain Thiago SIlva.
With the teams level the game started to heat up which led to Bruno Alves hitting Neymar with a nasty elbow and also avoiding a booking. After the incident when Neymar returned to the match he looked even more fired up for the occasion.
What came afterwards was absolutely incredible, Neymar collected the ball from a yard off the centre circle of the pitch and began to take on the defence.
He ran at top speed, drifting quickly away from Moutinho with ease, then Veloso tried to catch and make a tackle but he misses it.
Neymar then takes a final touch dribbling past Pepe (whom he had a slight altercation with earlier in the game) and he tucks wonderfully into the far corner of the goal.
The goal was simply unstoppable and Neymar who was undoubtedly the star of the night was running rings around the Portuguese defence as he played a major part in the last goal of the game.
Receiving the ball near the touchline, Neymar takes a few touches then executes an acute through ball to Maxwell who feeds Jo with a simple tap in.
Neymar, 21 has now scored an incredible 26 goals in 42 appearances for the Selecao, that is more than a goal every other game. Although he is far off the record set by Pele of 77 goals, with time by his side he might just be able to break it.
