Manchester United's £27.5m signing Marouane Fellaini was left shaken after being chased by drunken "British yobs" in Marbella at the weekend, according to The Sun.

The British newspaper reports that the 25-year-old was enjoying a late-night drink with his brother and two friends at the Seven Bar in Puerto Banus on Sunday when they were hassled by a couple of tourists.

“Fellaini was minding his own business when some drunk tourists started hassling him," a waiter told The Sun. “Fellaini and his friends asked them politely to leave. There was a little bit of pushing and shoving going on and when it looked like it was going to kick off, Fellaini and his brother made a run for it and we took them to an area above the bar out of harm’s way.

“He was very grateful and friendly but a bit shaken.”

Fellaini completed his move to Old Trafford on the final day of the summer transfer window following a five-year spell at Everton.

The Belgium international trained with his new team-mates for the first time earlier this week and is expected to make his Red Devils' debut against Crystal Palace this weekend.
