Tottenham signing Christian Eriksen is determined to make his Premier League debut against Norwich City on Saturday if this solo goal from training is anything to go by.

The Denmark international, who completed his £11.5m move from Dutch champions Ajax at the end of August, showed his class with a lovely little goal against his new teammates.

The 21-year-old, who was linked with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City earlier in his career, burst away from one challenge, dropped his shoulder to skip past a defender before cooly stroking the ball into the net.

The watching Andre Villas-Boas will surely have been impressed - and the Spurs boss has hinted that Eriksen will start against the Canaries this weekend.

The Dane was one of several new arrivals at White Hart Lane this summer following the departure of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

Argentina international Erik Lamela, who joined Spurs from Roma, is also in line to make his first start this weekend.
