Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi has long been considered one of the Gunners' most talented youngsters - but this shocking open goal miss has not exactly enhanced his burgeoning reputation.
The 20-year-old was playing for Arsenal's Under-21 side against their West Brom counterparts when he was picked out inside the penalty area by a beautiful threaded-pass by Serge Gnabry.
After a mix-up between goalkeeper and defender, all the Japan international had to do was slide the ball into the empty net.
Easier said than done, apparently, as Miyaichi somehow proceeded to miss the open goal from six yards.
Admittedly, he was off-balance when he struck the ball, but he had all the time in the world to steady himself and slot the ball home.
Miyaichi's blushes were spared, though, as Arsenal Under-21s still managed to record a 1-0 victory over the Baggies.
Is this one of the worst open goal misses of all time? Have your say after watching the video - provided by 101greatgoals - above.
